Ceramic Materials: Antiviral and Antibacterial Innovations

The TNS technology is validated following the ISO 21702 standard, to assess antiviral efficacy, and uses ASTM E3031, to determine antibacterial efficacy.

Our results are scientifically proven, with a 99.9% reduction in bacteria as Staphylococcus Aureus e E. Coli, as well as the 99.9% reduction in viruses of the same family and group of SARS-CoV-2.

It would be difficult to imagine our society without the use of ceramic materials and, for this reason, we feel compelled to provide solutions with lasting properties.

We believe that such a material present in our daily lives can also combat the uncontrolled growth of bacteria and viruses, thus avoiding the risk of disease transmission and cross contamination.

Ceramic is a non-metallic inorganic solid material, which in turn is compatible with the antimicrobial assets developed by TNS. These assets are composed of nanoparticles which, when incorporated into the ceramic enamel, offer continuous protection to the product, actively controlling the growth of viruses and bacteria throughout the life of the ceramic.
